Scott Wayne Pruitt, 45, of Yosemite , Kentucky , passed away Thursday, October 20, 2011 at his residence.

He was born in Liberty , Kentucky on November 5, 1965, son of Sylvia Irene McLaughlin Pruitt and the late Willard Wayne Pruitt.  He was caretaker of his mother and a previous employee of Tarter Industries.

He is survived by his mother, Sylvia Irene Pruitt of Yosemite, KY, two sons, Patrick LeeWayne Pruitt of Kissimmee, FL and Joshua Wayne Pruitt of Yosemite, KY, one daughter, Vanessa Pruitt of Liberty, KY, one brother, John Carlos & (Melissa) Pruitt of Yosemite, KY, one sister, Loria Ann Pruitt of Yosemite, KY, his wife, Marlena Rosa Hall Pruitt of Yosemite, KY, former wives, Cindy Pruitt, Sara Salmon Pruitt and Patricia Lamb Pruitt, nephews, Nickolas Tyler & (Katie) Carman, Elijah Chad Short, Jason Allen Pruitt and Jacob Raymond Pruitt and niece, Amber Shiann Pruitt.

He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Betty Gail Pruitt Walters.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Warren officiating.

Burial will be in King Cemetery .

Visitation will be after 1 PM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
