Terry A. White, age 63 of
Nancy, KY departed this life on Monday, March 7, 2011 at his home.
He was born on July 22,
1947 in Amelia, OH to the late Dallas and June Gullett White. He
was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War and an
automobile mechanic for Stevenson’s Auto Repair in Nancy, KY.
Mr. White loved to work and garden, an excellent mechanic, and
devoted husband and father. Mr. White was a member of the Heritage
Hope Church of God in Somerset, KY. He was loved by many and will
be missed by all who knew him.
Mr. White is survived by
his wife, Lois Davenport White, whom he married in 1999 in Nancy,
KY; four daughters, Carol Nevil of Lexington, KY, Diana (and
Charles) Sallee of Pensacola, FL, Gail Rawlins of Richmond, KY,
and Teresa (and David) Carter of Nicholasville, KY; two stepsons,
Michael (and Kristy) Nevil of Nicholasville, KY and Paul (and
Noel) Nevil of Sanford, FL; eleven grandchildren; five great
grandchildren; and a sister, Rhonda (and Gene) Moore of Knoxville,
TN.
He was preceded in death by
his parents, Dallas and June White.
Visitation for Mr. White
will be Thursday, March 10th at 11:00 am at the Chapel
of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with his funeral service to follow
at 1:00 pm. Bro. Johnny Dunbar will officiate. Interment will be
in the Mill Springs National Cemetery with the American Legion
Post #38 Honor Guard conducting full military honors.
