Vina Faye Hardwick Rector, 64, of Waynesburg , Kentucky , passed away Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington , Kentucky .

She was born in Pulaski County , Kentucky on May 20, 1947, daughter of the late William Ed and Bonnie Jasper Hardwick.  She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Point Baptist Church .  She was a devoted wife, mother and mamaw.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Thomas Rector Jr., two children, daughter, Marilyn Rector and son, Thomas Ed Rector and two grandchildren, Tyler Rector and William Christy IV, all of Waynesburg.  She was the youngest of nine siblings, one brother, Ollis Hardwick of Waynesburg and five sisters, Verna Reynolds of Waynesburg, Sylvia Rice of Stanford, Lena & (Harry) Rice, Millie & (Robert) Liles and Ada Maggard, all of Ohio also survive. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Denny Hardwick and one sister, Marie Brown.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Pleasant Point Baptist Church with Bro. Bill Meece and Bro. Bill Rhodus officiating.

Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery .

Visitation will be after 6 PM Wednesday at Pleasant Point Baptist Church .
