Violet Louise Ard
Violet Louise Ard, age 58, of Nancy, KY passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at her residence. Mrs.
Ard was born in Halls Gap, KY on October 9, 1949 to the late Richard
& Suzie Shelton Foley. She was a retired dietician at Britthaven. Mrs.
Ard is survived by her husband, James J. Ard; a son, Jamie & Kelly
Ard, Somerset; a daughter, Gloria Foley, Lexington, KY and 6
grandchildren, Ciera Foley, Tessa Foley, Hannah Ard, Austin Ard, Megan
Hammock, Evan Hammock. Along
with her parents she is preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Francis; 3
brothers, Willie Burton, Charles Burton, Everette Foley; 8 sisters, Rose
Peters, Mildred Rutherford, Evelyn Baach, Ellen Boyd, Jean Foley, Jane
Foley, Birtia Burton, Katherine Burton and a grandson, Joey Davis. Graveside
services for Violet Louise Ard will be held on Friday, August 15, 2008
at the Weddle Hudson Cemetery, Faubush, KY at 10:00am. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 6:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
