Vonis Bryon Ridener February 17, 1930 - April 14, 2008
He was
born in Bent, KY on February 17, 1930 son of the late Genius and Okel
Ridener. He was a veteran of the Korean War, a farmer, and a milk truck
driver for 38 years. He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church #1. Mr. Ridener is survived by his wife Wanda Lee Hunt Ridener, whom he married September 3, 1955 in Rossville, GA; one daughter, Pamela Lee (& Roy) Johnson of the Piney Grove Community; two sons, Roger Ridener, and Dale (& Judy) Ridener both of the Piney Grove Community; three brothers, Londis (& Jenny) Ridener, Jack (& Wilma) Ridener, Rick (& Linda) Ridener; three sisters Emaline (& Ed) Bradley, and Rose Phelps, all of Somerset, and Lucille Childers of Whiteland, IN; six grandchildren, Nikki (& Zac) Conley, Jon Ridener, Aaron Ridener, Amanda Ridener, April Ridener, Ashley Ridener, and someone who found him very special Kara Mounce, along with many other friends and family members who will celebrate his new life. He is
preceded in death by his parents; grandparents Reverend Henry Jack and
Frankie Ridener; two sisters Wanda Marie Mounce, and Phyllis Jean
Ridener; and a special nephew Ronald Jay Ridener. Funeral
services for Vonis Bryon Ridener will be held on Wednesday, April 16,
2008 at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home at 11:00am with Bro.
Ed Bradley and Bro. Doug Eggers officiating. Burial will follow in Piney
Grove Baptist Church #1 Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 6:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
