Willidene Dalton, age 82 of
Somerset, KY departed this life on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at
the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born on June 6,
1928 in Delmer, KY to the late Orville and Lola Daulton Burton.
Mrs. Dalton was a homemaker and a member of the Piney Grove
Baptist Church No. 2. She loved her flower garden. Mrs. Dalton was
a loving mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Dalton is survived by
two sons, Ercell Dalton Jr. (and Virginia) of Nancy, KY and Dale
Dalton (and Mildred) of Nancy, KY; four grandchildren; seven great
grandchildren; three brothers, Hollis Burton of Patton, MO, Athel
Burton of Hoopeston, IL, Luide Burton of Hoopeston, IL; and three
sisters, Olivene Bunch of Dayton, OH, Ama Jean Haddix (and Ed) of
New Carlisle, OH, and Rhonda Bell of Hoopeston, IL.
Along with her parents, she
was preceded in death by her husband, Ercell Dalton Sr., whom she
married in 1946 in Jamestown, KY and four brothers, Cecil Burton,
Cletis Burton, Carson Burton, and Kelly Burton.
Visitation for Mrs. Dalton
will be Sunday, March 27th at 5:00 pm at Lake
Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset.
Funeral service will be
held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 28th at the Chapel of
Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Travis Strunk officiating.
Interment will be in the Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy,
KY.
