Willie Glenn Tingle, age 66
of Nancy, KY, departed this life on Friday, January 28, 2011 at
the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on December 10,
1944 in Henry County, KY to the late Willie J. and Mary Katherine
Hardin Tingle. Mr. Tingle was a self-employed painter and farmer
and of the Seventh Day Adventist faith. He enjoyed fishing,
hunting, animals, miniature horses, farming, wood crafting, and
painting.
Mr. tingle is survived by
his wife, Carolyn Lee Harrod Tingle, whom he married on January
21, 1964 in Crestwood, KY; three daughters, Cynthia Smith (and
husband, Anthony) of Orlando, FL, Tammy Lynn Tingle of Nancy, KY;
and Angela Duncan (and husband, Dana) of Henry County, KY;
grandchildren, Melissa (and David) Clunis, Jason Phillos (and
fiancée, Amber), David Schlobach Jr., Kyle Wrye, Dustin Duncan,
Brandon Schlobach, and Tyler Smith; two great grandchildren,
Derrick Clunis and Skylar Phillos; three brothers, Connie Tingle
(and wife, Louise) of Sulfur, KY, Wendell Tingle (and wife, Anella)
of Jefferson County, KY, and David Tingle (and wife, Jennifer) of
Lexington, KY; and a sister, Diane Steever (and husband, Doug) of
Jefferson County, KY.
He was preceded in death by
his parents, Willie J. and Mary Katherine Tingle.
Visitation for Mr. Tingle
will be Monday, January 31st at 5:00 pm at Lake
Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset.
Funeral service will be
held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 1st at the Chapel
of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Soler and Elder
Robert Chase officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeside Memorial
Gardens.
