Columbus “Bud” Bray
Columbus “Bud” Bray age 79, of Burnside, Kentucky passed from this life Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center.
Bud was born November 7, 1940 to the late Columbus “Lum” Bray and Closton Haynes Bray in Burnside, Kentucky.
He was of the Baptist faith and worked at Kingsford for 34 1/2 years, Vietnam Veteran, liked to hunt, trade knives and guns, he loved his boys, granddaughter, wife and his dog “Ruby”.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Columbus and Closton Bray, brothers, Hayden Bray, Harold Bray, Clarence “Gene” Bray, sisters, Margaret Dearman, Anna Jordan and Flora Lee Gibson.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Brenda Bray, twin sons, Barry Bray of Burnside, Brian Bray (Amanda) of Williamsburg and granddaughter, Layla Bray.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 4, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Lonnie Sewell officiating, burial will follow in Grave Hill Cemetery.
