Brenda Sue Glover age 74, wife of John Glover, of Monticello, Kentucky, passed from this life on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at her home.
Brenda was born on February 12, 1951 to the late Marsh Brummett and Ruth Savage Brummett in Monticello, Kentucky.
She enjoyed tending to her flower garden, reading western and pioneer books, listening to the radio, fishing and spending time with her husband.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Marsh and Ruth Brummett, brothers: Larry, Jimmy, David and infant brother Tommy Brummett.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 29 years, John Glover, son James Slavens of Louisville, Ky; daughter Donna Slavens of TX; stepson Darrell “Matthew” Jenkins of Monticello, Ky; brothers: Danny, Johnny, and Gary Brummett both of Monticello, Ky; sisters: Lois Upchurch of IN; Betty Downs, Margaret Dobbs, and Judy Dunagan all of Monticello, Ky; along with numerous grandchildren.
Private family service will be held at Elk Springs Cemetery in Monticello, Kentucky with Bro. Danny Brummett and Randy Dishman officiating. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Brenda Sue Glover.
