Glen Allen Brown, age 61 of Burnside, Kentucky, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at his home.

He was born on November 8, 1964 in Somerset, Kentucky, son of Linda Mounce Brown and the late Kenneth Brown.

Glen was a member of Sloans Valley Baptist Church and has worked as an Operator at Armstrong Flooring. He enjoyed fishing, camping, being outdoors, wooding, teasing people, and spending time with his family. Glen will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Brown. He is survived by his wife, Patti Brown; his mother, Linda Brown of Sloans Valley; sons, Christopher Brown of Science Hill, Tanner (Tessa) Brown of Burnside, Bentley Brown of Lexington; daughters, Crystal Hash of Ferguson; stepson, Matthew Smith of Maynardville, TN; stepdaughter, Courtney Collins (Ziggy Long) of Clinton, TN; sisters, Karen Davis of Sloans Valley and Kay Potter of McCreary County; grandchildren, Chloe, Zoey, Izzabella, Micah, Gunner, and Kiley; nieces, Jessica, Hannah (Tommy), and Kendra (PJ); nephew, Hunter (Ariana); great-nieces, Karlie, Sienna, Macie, Oakley, and Kali; great-nephews, Cayden (Riley) Braxtyn, Grayson, Karter, Walker, Trenton, and Kanner; and a sister-in-law, Karen Maxwell of Powell, TN.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 6, 2026 at Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Monday in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Moses Raines and Bro. Christopher Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Sloans Valley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cayden Petrarca, Matthew Smith, Tommy Strunk, Hunter Davis, Tanner Brown, and Denver Floyd.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Glen Brown Memorial Fund, C/O Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
