Deanna Mashae Bowles, age 30, of LaFollette, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at University of Tennessee Medical Center. Deanna was born on April 30, 1995, in Somerset to the late Marcy Higgins.
Deanna attended Bethany Baptist Church in her younger years and was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and fishing, but most importantly, she cherished time with her family and caring for her children. Deanna was the manager of multiple H&R Block locations in Tennessee for several years.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marcy Higgins; and her grandfather, Ronald Higgins.
Left to cherish her memory are her fiancee, Ryan Morris; son, Lyndon Morris; 3 other special children, Bentley Morris, Max Morris, and Jordyn Morris; father, Charles Burgess; step mother, Angela Burgess; siblings, Samantha and Lance Minton, Hope and Destiny Murray, and Maci Burgess, Dakota and Iris Lee, Trent and Sidney McClure; her special Granny, Joyce Higgins; special uncle and aunt Steven and Hope Higgins; mother-in-law, Connie and Emmitt Letner; brothers-in-law, Cory Minton and Sammy Morris; along with a host of friends and extended family members.
Visitation for Mrs. Bowles will be held Saturday February 21,2026 from 11-3 in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be follow at 3 P.M. with Bro. Isaiah Super officiating. Interment will follow at Price Valley Cemetery. Sammy, Cory, Ryan, Lance, Dakota, and Charles will serve as active pallbearers.
