Flora was known for her quick wit, her deep love for her family, and her affection for her four‑legged friends. To those closest to her, she was lovingly known as Zelpha, and her warmth and humor touched everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Louisa VonLinger; and her sisters, Carolina, Anna, Marty, Mary Lee, Dorothy, Frances, Rita, and Rosa Jean.
She is survived by her sisters, Jeanette and Joyce; her children, Robert J. McKinney (Debbie Smith) and Jennifer D. Hylton (Charles C. Hylton); her grandchildren, Robert J. McKinney (Elizabeth McKinney), Kayla N. Hodge, Jenna E. Williams, Gregory S. Williams, and Sean M. Williams; her great‑grandchildren, Brooklynn Hodge and Robert “Nolan” McKinney; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Flora, known to her close family as Zelpha, will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Our worlds will never be the same.
