Mrs. Vicki Lynn Schoolcraft, age 67, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Friday, February 20, 2026 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
Vicki was born on May 20, 1958 to the late Joe Coomer and Geraldine Wilson Coomer in Somerset, Kentucky.
She was a lifetime member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, a past president of Pulaski County Jaycees, and member of the Republican Women’s Club. She enjoyed crafts, painting classes, going to concerts, traveling, going to their condo in Florida, watching the Hallmark channel, and was a 24-year cancer survivor. She was a graduate of Cumberland College Class of 1980.
Along with her parents, Vicki was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Coomer. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 31 years, Charles Schoolcraft, daughters: Rebecca Flinchum (David) and Rachael Schoolcraft, brother Doug Coomer all of Somerset; sisters: Lisa Bryant (Jeffrey) of Eubank, Ky and Jonna Stayton (Chris) also of Somerset; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great- nephews; and very special friend, Sheila Hansford.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 from 11am to 1pm in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1pm with Bro. Todd Young officiating. Burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery.
David Flinchum, Chance Stayton, Chris Stayton, Keenan Hall, Cameron Bryant, and Jeffrey Bryant will serve as pallbearers.
