Robert Louis Hopkins

Robert Louis Hopkins age 88, of Burnside, Kentucky passed from this life Saturday, January 18, 2020 at his home.

Robert was born May 28, 1931 to the late John Louis Hopkins and Mary Ellen Hill Hopkins in Lebanon, Ohio.

He was of the Presbyterian faith and a member of Pisgah Presbyterian Church. He loved listening to music, wood-working, story-telling, and spending time with his loved ones and friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Edna Hopkins Rawlins; son, Danny Padgett; and sister, Jean Rawlins.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons, Delbert Hopkins, Robert M. Hopkins; daughters, Lisa Hopkins French; Jackie Hopkins Stanton; sister, Sally Greene; ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 24, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Mikkle Hampton officiating.

Burial will be in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pisgah Presbyterian Church or Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
