Anthony Paul Newsome, age 63, of Richmond, Virginia passed from this life Monday, January 17, 2022 in Somerset, Kentucky.

Anthony was born February 27, 1958 to Archie Newsome and Dorothy Williamson Newsome in Detroit, Michigan.

He was of the Christian faith. Anthony was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Dorothy Newsome, brothers, Danny Ray Newsome and Phillip Newsome.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his son, Anthony Newsome Jr.; daughter, Erica Newsome Prall; brothers, Jamie Newsome, Greg Newsome and Bob Newsome and sister, Patricia Newsome Amstutz.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 11 A.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1 P.M. with Greg Newsome. Burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Anthony Paul Newsome.
