Barbara A. Sewell

Barbara A. Sewell, age 81, of Ferguson, Kentucky passed from this life Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Jean Waddle Care Center.

She was born August 12, 1940 to Joe Arvin Wilson and Flona B. Roy Wilson in Ingle, Kentucky.

Barbara was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church and she enjoyed crafting, working in her flower garden, needlework, quilting, was an avid shopper, an excellent cook. She spent many years working in the medical field, much of that time with Dr. Richard Weddle. Barbara was all about taking care of her twin grandsons and loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bobby Sewell and a brother, David Wilson.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Greg (Christy) Sewell of Somerset, Ky; brother, Marvin (Becky) Wilson of Eli, Ky; sisters, Arlene (Stanley) Chitwood of Somerset, Ky; Elaine Wilson of Ingle, Ky; Kaye (Royce) Delk of Nancy, Ky; like a sister, Salvicy Thompson of Somerset, Ky; along with grandsons, Eli and Peyton Sewell.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 25, 2022 from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. at Pine Hill Cemetery with a graveside service to begin at 11 A.M. with Bro. Mickey Winters officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or Pine Hill Cemetery.
