Charles D. Funderburg, age 82 of Somerset, Kentucky passed away on Friday May 24, 2024 at his residence with his loving wife beside him.
Charles was born June 29, 1941 in Troy, Ohio. He was retired from Hobart Corporation. They retired and moved to Somerset, Kentucky in 2006.
He is survived by his wife, Betty C Funderburg, whom he married in 1983.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
A private graveside service will be held at southern Oaks Cemetery with Bro. Tim Ogle officiating.
We thank all the Physicians LPA’S that took care of Chuck during his long illness.
We especially want to thank Dr. Gallo for his care over the years, especially at the end of Charles life.
Dr. Gallo showed him compassion and the care he gave kept him comfortable.
We thank Sara Godby, PAC for her taking wonderful care and professionalism shown to him since 2016. She has a very compassionate way that she shows her patients.
Close to the end of his life Hospice of Lake Cumberland Nurses, social workers, and everyone that took wonderful care of in some way or another. They are truly angels in assisting him in his final hours of life.
