Charlie Price, age 73, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life Monday, October 24, 2022 at UK Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.

Charlie was born March 28, 1949 to Newton Price and Minnie Price in Somerset, Kentucky.

He enjoyed fishing, loved spending time with his grandbabies and was an avid scrap collector. He cherished his family and friends.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Newton and Minnie Price, sons, Charles Thomas Price, David Sears, brothers, John Hill, Junior Owens, James Owens and Ralph Price, sisters, MaDonna Sue Troxtel and Myrtle Rainwater, grandson, Sean Kidwell.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Wilma Price, sons, Jack (Janie) Price of Somerset, Ky; Danny Price of Louisville, Ky; daughters, Nancy Hargis of Somerset, Ky; Elizabeth (Wendell) Price of Somerset, Ky; Samantha (Jon) Price of Somerset, Ky; sisters, Martha Hill and Helen Hill; grandchildren, David Sutton, Brooke Kidwell, Jordan Kidwell, Chandler Taylor, Haylee Hunt, Austin Hunt, Emma Price, Mackenzie Robinson; great-grandchildren, Eric, Areli and Ivan Perez; Ariana, Ashtyn and Zariyah Kidwell and Paisley Ray-Ann Taylor.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 10:30 A.M. to 12 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 12 P.M. with Bro. Kevin Bullock officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to his funeral expense. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Charlie Price.
