Cher Jean Ellis, age 70, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Monday, July 17th, 2023 at her home.
Cher was born on July 1, 1953 to the late John Deoring and Carmilla Hutchins Deoring in Baraboo, Wisconsin.
She was a wonderful person, friendly, made everyone feel welcome and at home. She was a writer and wrote many songs and poems.
Cher was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Ellis, son, Luke Ellis and brother, Steven Deoring.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Justin Cluney of Portland, OR; daughter, Jessica Ellis (Jeff Garton) of Manchester, TN; sister, Katheryn Seatar of WI; grandchildren, Adison Ford, Michael Ford, Riley Ellis, Bailey Ellis and Lennon Cluney. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
Memorial service will be held at a later date. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Cher Jean Ellis.
