David Alan Lanham

David Alan Lanham, age 64, of Somerset passed away from this life on March 23, 2024.

David was born February 8, 1960, in Lakeland, FL to Emmett Lanham and Betty (Aldridge) Lanham.

He loved his job as a truck driver at Mac Metal. He enjoyed being around family.  He loved to cook, eat, and talk.  David enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews and spoiling them.  He enjoyed helping take care of his father. He had a heart of gold.  He was of the Pentecostal faith.  He gave his heart to the Lord 6 months ago, and there was a change made in his life. He was a new man.

He was preceded in death by his mother Betty, and his brother Wayne Lanham.

He leaves behind to treasure his memory, his father Emmett (Ruth) Lanham; sister Darla (Nathaniel “Mal”) Denham of Eubank, KY; a special sister-in-law Annette Lanham; nephews Stephen Lanham and Nathaniel “Bub” (Sarah) Denham; nieces Angie (Sam) Ping, and Elizabeth Lanham; and a few great nieces and nephews.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation service will be Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 5-8 pm at Tabernacle Pentecostal Ministries 140 McKee Rd, Somerset, KY with a Funeral service to be on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 11 AM.

Burial will be at Lanham Town Cemetery, Liberty, KY.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations made to David Lanham c/o Southern Oaks Funeral Home Memorial Fund.

Officiant will be Bro. Jerry Burnett and Bro. Sammy Singleton.

Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
