Ecklin Collins

Ecklin Collins, of Bronston, KY, passed away peacefully in his home on January 13, 2023. He was born on November 21, 1947, to Glenn and Novella Collins. He graduated from Northridge High School in 1966. He married the love of his life, Carolyn (Malone) Collins on July 17, 1967. He was employed by General Motors for 30 years retiring in 1996 and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Ecklin and Carolyn moved to Echo Point KY in 1996 and have enjoyed their retirement to its fullest. Ecklin enjoyed the outdoors by hunting and fishing whenever he could. He always enjoyed friends stopping by to chit-chat on the porch. He is preceded in death by his father, mother, brother Tony and son Brett. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, daughter Nichol (Arthur) Mounce, daughter-in-law Cindy Collins, Grandson Sean Collins, and granddaughter Sarah Collins. Ecklin’s wishes were not to have a service or any fuss but for him to be remembered and celebrated with happy thoughts and good memories.
