Elizabeth Ann Ethridge

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

Elizabeth Ann Ethridge, age 76 of Russell Springs, Kentucky, passed from this life on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland.

She was born on March 12, 1947 in Newport News, Virginia, daughter of the late Jack Deans and Callie Mae Sechman. She was a retired truck driver for Globe Asphalt and of the Christian faith. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to casino’s, fishing and boating. Elizabeth confessed and stated her salvation even in the chaos of her life, and she passed peacefully. The beauty of Christianity is that no matter what you’ve done in your life or what has been done to you, you can find peace in death because this war on earth and within you is over. You have been given a free gift. You don’t have to know every scripture, you don’t have to be a perfectly holy person, you just have to believe and have faith in Christ Jesus. He said “come to me all who are weary and burdened and I will give you REST.” May she rest in peace because she is finally free.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Callie Mae and Walter Sechman and Jack Deans; and her son, Edward Gould.

She is survived by her children, Tina Hawkins and spouse Brad and Pete Bryant and spouse Ann; 11 grandchildren, Takisha and John Knapp, Tabatha and Nick StClair, Tawney Gould, PJ Davis, Derek Davis, Jake Davis, Kristen Davis, Sierra and Matt Ryan, Shelby and Chris Irion, Kyler Roy and Gage Bryant; 12 great-grandchildren; and special friends, Mary Utter and Patrick Davis.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Psalms 23:13.

Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Elizabeth Ann Ethridge.
