Eula Mae Casada

Mrs. Eula Mae Casada, age 85, of the Tateville Antioch Community, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at her residence after a brief illness.

She was born in Rowena, Kentucky on June 13, 1932, daughter of the late Bart Appleby and Candace Mae Burchett Appleby. Eula was a kind hearted, loving mother and Homemaker to her husband, children and grandchildren of whom she enjoyed spending time with. She was a dedicated member of the Tateville Baptist Church and one of her greatest joys was to be able to attend the church services. Eula also enjoyed camping, cooking and caring for others. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers; Buford and Jimmy Appleby and a sister; Beulah Ellison

She leaves behind to cherish her precious memories her devoted husband; Richard Gene Casada of Tateville whom she was married to for 63 years, one son; Paul David Casada of Tateville, two daughters; Jeanie Mae Casada of Burnside and Mary Ann (Billy) Anderson of Burnside, her grandchildren; Jaime (Daniel) Dick of Science Hill, Paula (Chris) Souder of Tateville and David Logan Casada of Somerset, great-grandchildren; Tiara Stephens, Isaiah Stephens, Ian Dick, Amelia Souder, and Realena Souder and a “like family” friend; Stoney Hotop of Tateville, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 16, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home

Funeral Service will be on Saturday, December 17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Denney, Bro. David Bortz and Bro. Troy Merrick officiating. Interment will be in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Tateville Baptist Church.
