Glenda Bray Phelps

Glenda Bray Phelps, age 95, was born June 10th 1927 to Beckham and Lilly Mae Taylor Bray. She was married to Stanley Phelps, who is now deceased.
She is survived by 5 children, Sue France of Lake City, TN, William (Bill) Shelley Phelps, Dorothy Canada, Pearl (Danny) Albright, Gary Lynn Phelps, all of Somerset; and one brother, Edward (Fern) Parkey of Bronston, 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way, and 1 great-great-grandchild and 1 on the way. She is also survived by good friends, Nyoka Naylor, Angie Anderson and Patty Phelps, and a host of other family members and friends that she leaves behind to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, her stepdad Millard Parkey, who raised her. Also, her brothers Glenn and Vonice Bray, Lowell and Howard Parkey, sisters, Clara Jean Anderson and Vera Faye Lunn. 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 20th 2022 in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Bro. Rick Lawson officiating. Burial will be in Pine Thicket Cemetery.
