Glenn L. Keith, age 81 of Burnside, Kentucky, passed from this life on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Cumberland Nursing and Rehab.

He was born on May 5, 1942 in Burnside, Kentucky, son of the late Scott and Ruby Troxell Keith. He attended Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church and had worked for the county road department for 15 years, Army Corps of Engineers for 20 years and the U.S Army Depot in Winchester for 20 years. Glenn was a breeder of Simmental cattle. Fishing, hunting, gardening and farming is what he enjoyed doing the most.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Irene Keith; and brothers-in-law, Bud Bray and Gene Bray.

He is survived by daughters, Glenda (Brent) Alexander of Somerset, Nelda Keith of Science Hill, Jennifer (Scott) Keith of Somerset, Michelle Watkins of Nancy and Sydney Redden of Burnside; brothers, Scott (Jennifer) Keith of Somerset and Robert (Sheri) Keith of Cincinnati, OH; sisters, Mary Elizabeth Stone (John) of Pensacola, FL, Joyce Napier (Reed) of Burnside, Brenda Bray of Corbin and Linda Bray of Somerset; grandchildren, Brent Alexander, Shanda (Justin) Reynolds, R.J. (Ami) Reynolds, Brittney (Ian) Alexander, Bailey Keith and Gavin Watkins; great-grandchildren, Slevin Redmon, Aubree Alexander, Camdon Rather, Remington Stigall, Kimber Stigall, Journey Alexander, Gunner Alexander, Scout Reynolds and Sunni Reynolds; and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March, 8, 2024 in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Pastor Barry Vaught officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Glenn L. Keith.
