Glenn Matthew Wooldridge age 59, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Sunday, July 18, 2021 at his home.

Glenn was born September 12, 1961 to the late Glendale “Diamond” Wooldridge and Geneva Willis Wooldridge in Jamestown, Kentucky.

He was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church, as well as a beloved member of the community involved in youth sports for over 40 years. He enjoyed spending time fishing and all activities outdoors. He loved spending time with his grandkids. He was co-owner and operator at Wamco for the past 7 years. He dedicated winter months to coaching the “Lake Cumberland Shooters” a non-profit organization started by Glenn for AAU Basketball.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lewis Wooldridge and Wilbur Wooldridge; sister, Shelia Wooldridge; father-in-law, Robert “Corn Bean” Connors. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Stephanie Connors Wooldridge whom he married on May 1, 1995 at New Victory Baptist Church in Jamestown, Ky; sons, Glenn “GJ” Wooldridge, Tremaine Wooldridge, Jalen Wooldridge all of Somerset; brothers, Jimmy Wooldridge of Jamestown, Ky; Gerald Wooldridge (Leara) of Jamestown, Ky; Charles Wooldridge of Jamestown, Ky; Kent Wooldridge of Jamestown, Ky; Perry Wooldridge of Nicholasville, Ky; sisters, Juanita Garr (Ralph) of Jamestown, Ky; Linda Riley (Fred) of Jamestown, Ky; Janice Dismeaux of Jamestown, Ky; Nadean Wooldridge of Nicholasville, Ky; mother-in-law, Hattie Mae Connors of Flemingsburg, Ky; sister-in-laws, Brenda (Henry) Clark of Flemingsburg, Ky; Linda Tutt of St. Louis, MO; Drucilla Connors of Flemingsburg, KY; brother-in-laws, Robert Connors Jr. (Kim) of Flemingsburg, Ky and Anthony Connors (Sandra) of Flemingsburg, Ky; grandchildren, Xavier Wooldridge, Zayne Wooldridge and Deacon Diamond Wooldridge; along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 5:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home.

Visitation will continue Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. at Oak Hill Baptist Church with a funeral service to begin at 1:00 P.M. at the Church with Bro. Albert Taylor, Bro. Henry Tutt and Dr. Harold Brown officiating, burial will follow in Green Chapel Cemetery in Jamestown, Ky.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers: Nicholas Wooldridge, Gwinn Wooldridge, Dwan Taylor, Antoine Wooldridge, Victor Wooldridge and Damon Taylor.

Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Glenn Matthew Wooldridge.
