James Michael Gregg, age 65, Camby, Indiana passed from this life in Georgetown, Kentucky on Sunday, April 28, 2024.

James was born on July 18, 1958 to the late John Gregg and Wilma Deen Boling Gregg in LaFollette, Tennessee.

He was an Air Traffic Controller in the United States Air Force and was a machinist by trade. He enjoyed fishing, watching car races, especially Indy 500, riding motorcycles and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed.

James was preceded in death by his wife, Marcia Trostle Gregg and his parents. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons: Michael Gregg (Allison) of Somerset, Ky; Steven Gregg (Sharon) of Loganville, GA; Johnathan Gregg and Aaron Gregg both of Indianapolis, IN; daughter, Deena Knight (Justin) of Camby, IN; brother, Tim Gregg (Linda) of Knoxville, TN; sisters: Karen Gregg of Ferguson, Ky; Wendy Crabtree (Terry) of Monticello, Ky; grandchildren: Will Gregg, Henry Gregg, Andrew Gregg, Gaven Gregg, Lauren Mederos, John Gregg, Praxis Gregg, Justin Knight Jr. “J.J.” and Brandyce Knight; along with many nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held on Friday May 3, 2024 from 12:30-1:30 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks. Interment will follow in Mill Springs National Cemetery.

Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Honor Guard #38.
