Jody Lee Clines

Jody Lee Clines, age 49, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away at home on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. He was born February 16, 1972 in Somerset, Kentucky to Jackie and Carol Clines.
He loved to hunt and fish. Jody was licensed Electrician, owning his own business Elite Electrical. He attended Grace Chapel Wesleyan Holiness Church and he left behind a clear testimony of salvation. Jody’s birthday was February 16th and he will spend his birthday in Heaven celebrating with loved ones gone on before him.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Gene and Christine Proffitt, Penn and Marie Clines; Aunts, Geraldine Dodson and Ruth Hicks.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife, Jennifer, son, Gunner, brother, Brian (Michelle) Clines, sister, Melinda (Dwayne) Stogsdill, nieces, Sarah Stogsdill, Emily (Jacob) Stephens; Aunts and uncles, Linda Dobbs, Annie Ryan, Shirley Stoner, Ronnie Proffitt, Rick Proffitt, Garry (Ruth) Clines. Many cousins and in-laws that Jody loved dearly.
Jody loved his family and friends very much and loved spending time with them. Leaving many to mourn his passing. Special friends were, Greg Humphrey (Earl) and Aaron Patterson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1 P.M. with Rev. Wallace Thornton and Rev. Chris King officiating. Burial will follow in the Southern Oaks Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Clines, Aaron Patterson, Paul Dodson, Michael Dobbs, Caden Dobbs, Jacob Stephens; honorary pallbearers, Jody Williams and Greg Humphrey.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Grace Chapel Wesleyan Holiness.
