Katherine Louise Strunk

Graveside services for the family will be held at a later date

Katherine Louise Strunk, age 40, of Orlando, Florida, passed from this life on Friday, March 24, 2023 while in the care of hospice.

Katherine was born on June 8, 1982 to Lula Worley Strunk and Billy R. Strunk in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. 

Kathy had traveled throughout the country and lived in several states before moving to Orlando, where she enjoyed the sunshine and the laidback lifestyle of Florida. She had worked as a nursing assistant and pursued her dream of getting a better education in nursing. 

While battling cancer, she received her certification as a Medical Administrative Assistant in July 2022, and then an Associate of Science Degree in Medical Administration on February 19, 2023.

Katherine leaves behind to cherish her memory, her parents, Lula and Billy Strunk of Somerset, KY; her sons, Anthony Goodin of Orlando, Florida; Tony Michael Strunk and her daughter, Marissa Strunk both of Somerset, KY.  Her brother Russell Strunk and wife Amy of Science Hill, KY; a niece, Skylar Strunk of Fredericksburg, VA and many aunts, uncles and cousins in various states. 

Graveside services for the family will be held at a later date at the Southern Oaks Cemetery. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Katherine Louise Strunk.
