Kelly Renee Goodpaster, age 60, of Ferguson, Kentucky, passed from this life on Sunday, July 16th, 2023 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Kelly was born on June 4, 1963 to the late Robert Carter and Patricia Price Carter in Visalia, California.
She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed nature, animals, especially her dogs and cats.
Kelly was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Patricia Carter and her father in law, David Goodpaster.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Kevin Goodpaster, her mother in law, Mary Goodpaster; brother, Jeff (Debbie) Carter of Palakia, FL; sisters, Dorothy Carter and Bobbie Sue Carter of Arizona; nieces, Mahala Cecil, Emory Goodpaster, Trinity McClanahan; nephews, Justin (Selena) Harris, Aaron Goodpaster, Devan Goodpaster, Zadin McClanahan, Erek McClanahan, Noah Cecil, Shaun Carter, Jeffery Carter Jr., Robert Fix, James Fix, great niece, Lexi Harris, great nephew, Jace Harris; brother in law, Scott (Becky) Goodpaster and sister in law, Kimberly (Brent) Cecil.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kelly Goodpaster Memorial Fund. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Kelly Renee Goodpaster.
