Leisa Kay Sears, age 56, of Monticello, Kentucky, passed from this life on Friday, April 17, 2026 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Leisa was born on February 23, 1970 to the late Laverne Sears and Laura Burnet Sears in Somerset, Kentucky.
She was of the Pentecostal faith. She loved to work in her garden, making arts and crafts. Nothing meant more to her than her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sons: Joseph Rose and Timothy Rose Jr. (Mary); daughters: Leisha Stewart (Eric), Kristie Rose, and Holly Rose (David) all of Somerset, Ky; boyfriend of 22 years: Timothy Hodge of Monticello; brothers: Dale Sears of Eubank, Ky; Mike Sears (Flossie) and Lonnie Sears both of Somerset; sisters: Margaret Woodall (Ronnie), Alice Johnson Sears (Robert), and Marie Sears (Johnny) all of Somerset; grandchildren: Emily Carrender, Serenity Nunn, Brianna Rose, Jasmine Nunn, Jayden Stewart, Izayah Pinson, Abel Rose, Amara Rose, Axl Rose, Ellie Cromer, Danny Webb, Dexter Gullett, and Krislyn Moore; along with father of her children, Timothy Rose and a host of friends and family. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 11am to 1pm in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1pm.
