Margaret Wilson

Ms. Margaret Wilson, age 63, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Saturday, September 30, 2017, at her residence surrounded by family and friends in Somerset, Kentucky.

She was born August 11, 1954 in Somerset, Kentucky, daughter to the late Harold “Doc” Wilson and Roberta Lyons Wilson.

Margaret worked for the Pulaski County School System where she worked as a bus driver. She was a devoted Christian and a member of Faith United Baptist Church of Somerset, Kentucky. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her precious grandchildren (Jace & Maddox) and family. Margaret was known for always putting her family and friends before herself. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Margaret leaves behind to cherish her precious memories her daughter and special son-in-law; Mindy (Jordan) Dick of Somerset, grandchildren; Jace Dick and Maddox Dick, brothers; Emery “Jackie” (Darlene) Wilson of Somerset, James “Paul” (Teresa) Wilson, sisters; Patricia (Darrell) Gilpin of Somerset, Kathy Wilson, and Glenda Wilson, nephew; Jonathan (Lacie) Wilson of Somerset, great nephew; Jaxon Wilson, great niece; Avery Wilson, caring friend; Kathy Taylor of Somerset, her special friend and dog; “Bailey”, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 2, 2017 at 6 o’clock p.m. in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 1 o’clock p.m. in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Eric Vaught officiating and a special message by Bro. Jamie Taylor.

Interment will be in the Southern Oaks Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland at 100 Parkway Dr. Somerset, Kentucky 42503.

Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Ms. Margaret Wilson.
