Marty Colwell, Jr. age 40 of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at UK Chandler Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was born on July 12, 1982 in Hyden, Kentucky, son of Marty Colwell, Sr. and the late Debbie Skeens Colwell.
Marty loved hunting and fishing. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
He is survived by his father, Marty Colwell, Sr. and two sons, Nathaniel Colwell and Jacob Colwell; four daughters, Deina Nelson, Clara Nelson, Marissa Colwell and Kaylee Colwell (Aaron); one brother, Tommy Kidd; and three sisters, Melissa Pruitt (Aaron), Flora West and Nancy Simpson (Asa).
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at 3718 Hickory Hill Drive, Somerset, KY 42503.
