Roger D. Weddle, age 65, of Nancy, Kentucky, passed from this life on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
Roger was born on December 10, 1957 to Carter Weddle and Emma Ruth Fox Weddle in Somerset, Kentucky.
He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church #2. He enjoyed collecting classic cars, archery, hanging out at Steve’s Garage and listening to classic rock music. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
Roger was preceded in death by his father, Carter Weddle. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother, Emma Ruth Weddle, son, Barry Weddle (Helen) of Somerset, Ky; daughter, Kelly Hunt (Andy) of Somerset, Ky; sister, Linda Phelps (Michael) of Shopville, Ky; fiancé, Beth Bryant; grandchildren, Abigail Weddle, Haley King, Jacob Weddle and Wyatt Hunt.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 5-8pm in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 11am in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Joseph Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery #2.
