Rosemary Cross, age 87, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Rosemary was born on October 16, 1936 in the Turkey Creek Community of Wayne County, Kentucky to the late Harry F. Correll and Mae Branscum Correll.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, William H. Cross. She is survived by 2 sons: Gary William Cross of Whitley City, Ky and Danny Lee (Marsha) Cross of London, Ky, 2 granddaughters: Kelli (Andy) Fisher of Somerset, Ky and Whitney (Chris) Schumacher of London, Ky, 3 great-grandchildren: Brantley Schumacher and Lily and Blakelyn Fisher, 1 sister, Lillian Meece of Somerset, Ky. Along with a host of family and friends who will mourn her passing.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

A private family service will be held with no visitation per her wishes. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Rosemary Cross.
