Ruby Harrison, age 81, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Crestview Personal Care.

Ruby was born on June 3, 1942 to the late Andy Worley and Flonnie Braumn Worley in Burnside, Kentucky.

She was a member of Denham Street Baptist Church. She loved Jesus first and foremost. She enjoyed canning, sewing, watching birds, tending to her garden and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She put others needs before her own and she will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, William David Harrison, her parents, Andy and Flonnie Worley, son, Michael C. Harrison, brothers, Ken Worley and Rubin Worley, sisters, Ida Lockard, Carolyn Lockard, Margie Harrison and Anita Kay Worley.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sons: David Lee Harrison (Melissa) of Cedar Grove, Ky; Ronnie Harrison (Vicki) of Oklahoma; Scotty Harrison of Somerset, Ky; daughters: Jean Harris (Lewis) of Burnside, Ky; Loretta Loveless (Mark) of Somerset, Ky; brothers: Jim Worley and Jerry Worley both of Cedar Grove, Ky; Danny Worley of Somerset, Ky; sister, Clauda Watson; along with 8 grandchildren: April Duty, Josh Harrison, Samantha Sears, Sabrina Burton, Staci L., Stephine, Josh B. and Brooklyn along with numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 from 10am to 12pm in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 12pm with Bro. David Lee Harrison officiating. Burial will follow McDaniels Cemetery.
